Jennifer Lauer is a writer, podcaster, and performer. The Girl in the Zoo is her debut novel. She is the writer and creator of The Strange Chronicles, a fiction podcast, and the writer and co-host of Making the Strange, a how-to podcast. As a performer, she has done storytelling and comedy at The Moth, Second City Hollywood, Improv Olympic, and The Comedy Store. Jennifer lives in California, by way of Massachusetts, with her family.
